1st Semester speeding to an end!!

 The end of the first semester is fast approaching. Both the Library and Learning Centre has been busy assisting TAFE and University of Newcastle students with their studies as their deadlines for assignments and exams loom ever closer.

Our new staff member Cheryl Johnston joins us next week. Cheryl is very familar with TAFE library work having recently left Taree TAFE Library . She will be continuing the good work previously undertaken by Annette Dawes in the position as University Liasion Librarian and has previous University Library experience. There will be some changes to the Library and Learning Centre opening hours over the coming weeks.

 

Queen’s Birthday holiday weekend (7th- 9th June 200

 

The Library will be:

• Open Saturday 7th June 12 Noon-5pm.
• Closed on the 9th June.

The Learning Centre will be:

• Open Sat 7th June  & Sun 8th Jun 10am -5pm
• Closed Mon 9th June

Semester Break (Monday 30th June- Friday 18th July 200

Library Hours:

 

Monday- Thursday 9am- 1pm,  2pm-4pm   Friday  9am -1pm

• Closed Saturday 5th, 12th 19th July

Learning Centre:

 Swipe card access to the Learning Centre is not available from  Friday 27th June (8pm) until Monday 21st July (8am)

 

 

Items can be borrowed during the semester break.  Those that are due during this break can be renewed  via TAFECAT (TAFE Library catalogue) with your Library barcode and Pin, or by phone during library hours (listed above) on 6581 6233).

 

 

Tutorial Support:

 

Tutorial Support in the library is only available during term times.  No teachers will be available to provide assistance during the semester break (Monday 30th June to Friday 18th July)
